For those who want to venture outside of the city limits to head to another amusement park, Superland which is located in Rishon Letzion has more daring rides.
Splash Around At a Water Park
The Meimadyon is the main water park in Tel Aviv and offers water rides and pools for all to enjoy. The summer is the most popular time to visit the park and provides fun waterslides and more which are appropriate for the entire family. If you want to venture to Holon, Israel about a ½ hour drive away, then the Yamit 2000 is another good water park option for individuals to consider. Since part of this water park is indoors it can be kept open year-round.
Enjoy Music in Tel Aviv
Those seeking various music styles are sure to be pleased with all there is within the city limits to enjoy. Individuals who like classical music can attend concerts at the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra or view an opera by the New Israel Opera. Festivals are a big deal in Tel Aviv and there are many to choose from throughout the year. The White Night Festival is a popular festival which occurs at some point during the summer and provides various activities for all to enjoy throughout the night. Held twice a year, the Tel Aviv Fashion Market provides attendees with the chance to view designer clothes and even purchase the items while there. The Night Flea is a flea market festival which occurs during the weekends in August. For film lovers, Docaviv is Tel Aviv’s documentary film festival where unique and creative films can be viewed by the public. The Tel Aviv International LGBT (lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender) Film Festival is an alternative film festival focusing on gender diversity and occurs in June. For student films, the Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival is known throughout the world and occurs in Tel Aviv in May.
